While NVIDIA continues to introduce the RTX 40 series graphics cards, companies like ASUS have started adding their own interpretations to these graphics cards. Recently, the compact and attention-grabbing RTX 4060 model was introduced, completely transformed into a different graphics card in the hands of ASUS.
ASUS ROG Strix cooler makes the RTX 4060 much larger
ASUS has started using the ROG Strix cooler design across the entire RTX 40 series graphics cards. With the addition of this cooler, the compact two-slot RTX 4060 has reached the dimensions of the flagship RTX 4090 Strix.
When comparing ASUS’s ROG Strix cooler with the dimensions of the RTX 4060, it appears considerably larger. This will make it appear much larger than its compact size suggests. The model comes with 2 fans as standard, and with the addition of the cooler, it will take up as much space in your computer as its big brother, the RTX 4090.
NVIDIA has set the list price of the RTX 4060 at $300. However, ASUS, which has added a high-end cooler to this graphics card, will likely demand a higher price. ASUS has announced that it will offer two different models of the RTX 4060, and it is predicted that one of the models will be overclocked.
